Post 6 : How can your major make the world a better place

 I am not sure that art can change the world but I do believe that it produces a profound impact on society and its transformation, the human being is subject to change and art has a positive impact on the development of each person and, therefore so much, of each society. The theater expresses behaviors, ideas, habits and achieves changes at the group level, since the proposals of its work are diverse and are directed at children, youth and adults, addressing different topics and social problems that always leave a message on which to reflect. As a theatrical designer, I have the responsibility of building, through visuality, an aesthetic political discourse that dialogues with people, and that collaborates with the message that is to be transmitted. This, which almost always involves a call to consciousness, can generate, even if it is small, a change in the people who observe my work. Post 5 : A photo and its story

  Well... As you can see, today I bring you a photo, that personally I really like and I'm going to talk to you a bit about it . This winning photograph of the prestigious worldwide contest "35Awards" in the category “Reportage Photography” was taken by Javier Vergara (independent photographer) during protests that occurred in Chile at the end of 2019, in the context of the so-called "Social Outbreak" . In the image we can see how protesters protect themselves with a shield from water cannon used by the Chilean Special Police Forces . As we well know, there are many shocking images that the revolt of October 18 th left us, however, among others, this one seems very powerful to me, because it captures the exact moment in which people as a whole resist the repressive action of the police.
